Hil-Shrink HQ Box 3:1 are high-quality and cost-effective 3:1 thin-wall heat-shrink tubes available in a wide range of diameters (1.5…39.0mm).
In contrast to conventional 2:1 heat-shrinkable tubing, they allow to bridge substantially larger diameter differences and thus create compact assemblies of, for example, cable with a connector etc. They are made of self-extinguishing material, according to UL224.
Hil-Shrink 3:1 ISK are also 3:1 heat-shrinkable tubings, but it is a thick-wall version. Comparing to the previous version, it also has a hot melt adhesive (glue) on the inside, according to MIL-I-23053/4.
After their application, we obtain a practically hermetic cover with a wall thickness of up to 2 mm. They are ideal for protecting cables against kinks or mechanical damage, even in harsh environments. They are made of self-extinguishing material, according to UL224, supplied in 1.2m cuts.
