Conrad Business Supplies now offers Fluke Calibration’s 2638A multi-channel data logger. The device is available in three versions with 20, 40 and 60 channels and has a full-colour display with an easy-to-use menu system. DC measurement accuracy is 0.0024%. Combined with a 6.5-digit DMM mode and CAT II safety ratings, the 2638A is an industrial precision data acquisition system.
Users can choose between inputs measuring DC voltage, AC voltage, resistance, thermocouple, resistant temperature detector (RTD), thermistor, frequency as well as DC and AC current. With other optional software and additional data loggers, the 2638A can be combined to build a flexible data acquisition system with almost any number of channels. “The versatility of the 2638A, as well as the option to connect multiple devices makes the data logger ideal for flexible use in a professional environment,” says Rüdiger Hahn, Sales Manager Western Europe at Fluke Calibration.
The input module of the Fluke 2638A supports 14 common thermocouple types. The basic thermocouple accuracy is 0.5°C. The optional 2638A-20CHKIT plug-in input module offers 22 channels, including 20 universal inputs and two dedicated, low-burden input current channels, as well as a differential analog input for multi-channel wiring. With the three slots in the rear panel, the 2638A can be extended to up to 60 or 66 channels. The Hydra series III has 20 internal math channels with alarm settings for complex mathematical calculations, recording results in a data file during each scan.
The 2638A series can display real-time data from up to four channels simultaneously with a history mode that allows scrolling through previously collected data within the scan file. In addition, a zoom function is available. The 20MB integrated memory is sufficient for more than 57,000 data records and configuration files. There is also a USB port for collecting and storing large files directly on a USB drive. An integrated file management menu makes it easy to move data or configuration files from internal memory or USB memory to a PC. “With its extensive memory capabilities, the 2628A allows our customers to use it as a portable device as well as in the laboratory or industrial environment”, says Markus Gebhard, Senior Director Purchasing Strategic Brands at Conrad Business Supplies.
