SCHURTER is pleased to introduce its new series 4751, IEC style F outlets for 2, 4 or 6 pack configurations. The outlets are designed to provide enhanced features for increased functionality, as well as ease of assembly in power distribution units and uninterruptible power supplies.
For the safe operation of systems in data centers, information and communication technology, the power distribution architecture is a key facet of power quality design. Components with safety agency approvals ensure compliance in the end system, while the need for components that enable downsizing and speed of assembly are also key considerations.
SCHURTER’s new 4751 series 2, 4 & 6 packs are prewired between outlets for speed of assembly. Common terminals are solder 4.8 x 0.8 mm or quick connect 6.3 x 0.8 mm. The line terminal can also be independent with neutral and ground terminals prewired. Snap-in mounting is standard for 1.5 mm panels, with optional 1 or 3 mm on request. The panel cut-outs are keyed to ensure proper mounting and alignment for assembly. The outlets are also oriented to allow for compatibility with V-Lock retaining cord sets.
The 4751 series features color options in black, grey or white for cluster distinction of multi-phases, for instance. Additionally, a new tamper resistant Blind Cover, series BC320, is added to SCHURTER’s extensive range of outlet accessories. The BC320 is designed to manage system loads, whereby individual outlets can be blocked for use. These protective covers are mounted onto the outlets in the power distribution unit, just like a cap. For safety reasons, the protective caps cannot be removed without a special tool/key.
The 4751 series is certified by VDE and CCC for 10 A at 250 VAC. It is cURus approved for 15 A at 250 VAC.
