RasPiO® Analog Zero Add 8 Analogue Channels to the Raspberry Pi

The RasPiO Analog Zero has been designed to give you a inexpensive and easy way to add eight analog channels to your Raspberry Pi.

The board will fit directly on any 40-pin consumer model of Raspberry Pi, enabling you to start analog sensing and control using GPIO Zero on the Pi. With this compact board you’ll be able to read up to 8x analog inputs at once (up to 3.3V), giving you the ability to:

Make a weather station
Make a digital thermometer
Make a voltmeter
Use potentiometer dials for control and display
Read analog sensors or voltages
Make your own embedded device with minimal footprint

To make things super-simple Ben Nuttall and Dave Jones have developed GPIO Zero, a simple interface to GPIO devices with Raspberry Pi, making coding your projects easy.

code snippet Because GPIO Zero is now a part of the standard Raspbian distribution, you won’t even have to install any software to get RasPiO Analog Zero working. This board also works with other GPIO libraries e.g. RPi.GPIO.

There is a comprehensive manual for the RasPiO Analog Zero that you can download here.
