Potter is pleased to announce the release of the Potter MT-120 VAC Mini Horn. The Potter MT-120 VAC Mini Horn is a direct replacement of the Potter MH-120 Mini Horn, and is equipped with many great features. This will be the only 120 VAC mini horn available on the market that provides both steady and temporal tones and fits into a single gang box; providing temporal tones in a sleeker package.
This less obtrusive housing design for a temporal tone capable mini horn is the first of its kind, and will provide great new options for building contractors. Our goal at Potter was to create a product that would more stringently adhere to NFPA 72, requiring the standard evacuation signal (temporal tone) when occupants need to evacuate or relocate (2016 edition section 18.4.2.1). Options currently available on the market for temporal tone mini horns are rather large and not ideal for residential installations. The Potter MT-120 VAC will provide an easy way to incorporate a temporal tone mini horn into any building plan due to its ability to be flush mounted to the wall in a single gang box.
Potter’s new MH-120 Mini Horn is available through dealers beginning May 1, 2018. The MH-120 will no longer be available for purchase.
