New Amphenol Industrial LTW X-LOK IP68 field installable connector family

Suits signal, power and hybrid applications; IP68 rated; provides UV exposure protection: suits industrial automation, marine, and other applications

Amphenol LTW’s X-Lok product series portfolio for signal, power and hybrid applications is now available from TTI, Inc., a world leading specialist distributor of electronic components.  The X-Lok Series features a push lock mechanism, enabling blind mating for fast, simple and convenient installation, repair and maintenance in the field.  The X-Lok Series meets the high standards required for industrial connectors as devices are manufactured using UL94V-0 and UL-f1-rated material to provide protection against UV exposure, as well as being IP68 rated to protect against jets of water and dust ingress.

Additional ease-of-installation features include an easy-grip design to prevent the connector being accidentally dropped and confirmation of correct mating position with audible feedback. Seals of different sizes can be easily identified as they are colour coded. The X-Lok Series is offered with a large variety of receptacles, and can accommodate a wide range of wire and cables.  Technical specifications include voltage rating of 300V AC/DC (power) and current rating of 20A.  Contacts are silver plated copper alloy. Temperature range is -40degC to +105degC.

Suitable applications for the X-Lok Series include industrial and factory automation, marine electronics, LED lighting, renewable energy, IP CCTV and security and rapid mass transport systems.
